8MILE- A symbol of Cohesion and Affection
An important step in the development of Chinese rap music can be traced back to a summer in Xi'an in 2003. In an era where there was no Hip-hop and no true rappers, a few teenage boys came together because of their love for Hip-hop.
Since then, Xi'an, China, had its first Hip-hop label, "Luan Zhan Men" (Chaos Gate).
21years for Chinese Hiphop
The times did not favor them, but they persisted through their own passion and belief. Nine years later, the teenagers had grown up and entered society. In 2012, when survival was sought, the first Underground 8 Miles event was officially held! From 2012 to 2024, Underground 8 Miles officially entered its 13th season. In 13 years, it has almost traveled all over China.
